Dr. Stephany Quinn
She is a mom of three. She is a life long athlete, favourite sports being ringette and soccer. She completed her medical degree at McMaster University and her Pediatric training at University of British Columbia. She practices acute care at Surrey Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Jessica Nicoll
She is a pediatrician who trained at the University of Alberta in Edmonton and she provides acute care services at Surrey Memorial Hospital. She has a keen interest in working with children with medical complexity, medical education and outcomes research. On a personal note, she spends her free time outdoors—walking her dogs or chasing her children with sunscreen in hand.

Dr. Kristopher Kang
Dr. Kang has worked as a hospital pediatrician at BC Children's Hospital, but recently shifted his hospital work to Surrey where he is busier than ever! He continues to be especially passionate about supporting children with medical, developmental, and mental health needs in the school system. In addition to his work in the Fraser Health region, he has an active practice in Vancouver's inner city, as well as outreach in northern BC.

Dr. Derek Rajakumar
Dr. Derek Rajakumar is a pediatrician trained at the University of Saskatchewan, dedicated to providing comprehensive care for children and families. He has supported rural and remote communities through real-time virtual support and locum work, helping improve access to pediatric expertise across British Columbia. Outside of medicine, Dr. Rajakumar enjoys spending time with his wife and their two dogs, traveling, the outdoors, and pursuing his passion for health and fitness.

Dr. Julia Schneiderman
After training at the University of British Columbia and working in neonatology, Dr. Julia Schneiderman transitioned to pediatrics at Surrey Memorial Hospital and community pediatric practice. Outside of work, she spends her time collecting mountain views and family memories—usually with more elevation gain than originally advertised.

Dr. Carrie Smythies
Dr. Carrie Smythies was born and raised in British Columbia and grew up in the Tri-Cities. She completed her Bachelor of Science at Simon Fraser University before earning her medical degree and completing her Pediatric Residency at the University of British Columbia.
She is delighted to be returning to the community that helped shape her and is grateful for the opportunity to care for local children and their families. Dr. Smythies is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care and building strong relationships with the families she works with.
Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her two children, exploring the outdoors, discovering great coffee shops, and curling up with a good book whenever she can.

With hands-on patient care experience, they excel at managing office tasks while maintaining a warm, caring approach. Outside of work, he is a kid at heart, enjoying basketball and video games.
